![]() ![]() Adopt some variety! It will make a world of difference. Please Mr Bagwell, if you read this, expand your lexicon!! Drop the overused stock phrases like "arrow after arrow", allow your characters to express amusement with something other than a chuckle, and consider tones that aren't so dry. It makes it so difficult to get through these otherwise exciting stories. And the old favourites like "tendril", "unholy", and "dry tone" are all here in full force. I shall never be able to utter it without cringing. I hate the word "crimson" now with a terrible passion. Even more difficult for me is that the two worst aspects of this book series are stronger than ever here: 1) Overpower main characters: no spoilers but honestly what exactly were the stakes meant to be when the main character can kill literally anyone and everyone without breaking a sweat? 2) Terribly repetitive language. I enjoy the world and larger story, but I don't think Travis does a good job with the interpersonal relationships and this story in particular just failed to engage me. Tldr If you like Frank or at least don't hate him and want to read about him making the people who threatened his new friends lives a living hell ( Jason would be SO proud ) then this is the book for you! It certainly captures just how when someone makes a mistake they would rather not take responsibility for their actions and how its easier to throw someone else under the bus. The fact that this is not unpleasant shows just how skilled the writing was for this, you can see why people are acting the way they do, and it is done in a way in which is believable and furthers the plot and nuances. This is a book that can create some frustration and irritation because of how characters act. I would be as bold to say that from how this book went Frank will become the embodiment of what it means to be the Left Hand of the Twilight Throne moving on in the series. ![]() Frank gets some real love here from Travis Bagwell on his development as a young man and what it means to accept your flaws and how to move forward. Frank hasn't gotten a lot of time to shine and i've been worried that he hasn't gotten to develop as much as the other members of original sin. I'll try to avoid spoilers and leave a simple review but it is ABSOLUTELY my favorite side story and actually ranks in my top 2 of these books as my second favorite of this series. He is the current GCW Television Champion, after pinning Matt Cardona at GCW Say You Will. Follow Frank in his grand adventure of finding who he really is and what it means to be himself. Richard Wendell Morton (born September 21, 1956) is an American professional wrestler, currently performing on the independent circuit. ![]() Hungry for another awaken online side story? Don't worry, Franks pretty hungry and eager to please the audience in this title. ![]()
